For this race we had the participation of 39 drivers, of which 2 were specially invited from the USA: Bobby Moore (Mugen, CMB, Panther, Maxys fuel) and George Velazco (Maxys Fuel). During the weekend the ambient temperature was very hot (44°C) and we obtained a very good setup with the XRAY XB8. This setup gained us the win in the 30 minute semi-final, which guaranteed us a place at the bottom of the Final. The XB8 and the MEGA motor behaved very well in the semi-final, but we noticed that the track degraded a lot after that. We had to raise the height of the chassis a little and used that setup for the Final, which was a bit of a long shot since this was a non-traditional setup for the now bumpy and low-traction conditions.

The Final was originally to be 45 minutes long, but was changed to 30 minutes due to the lateness of the event. Our setup turned out to be very good, and the motor was working very well. We battled with Venezuelan driver Miguel Villalobos and USA driver Bobby Moore, and in the end the results were as follows:
